A Mount Hope Plantation Wedding In Baton Rouge
Rainy day weddings are always interesting, but when Mother Nature decides to grace us with a perfectly gorgeous day, magic happens! This afternoon, I was honored to be able to conduct a wedding ceremony for a wonderful couple, Mr. and Mrs. Maum, at the stunning Mount Hope Plantation in Baton Rouge.
I love when couples mix traditional with modern, old with new. The entire wedding party (including the parents) all wore gray Chucks (tennis shoes). The bride was in a beautiful wedding gown, with the groom wearing suspenders but no jacket. The elegance of the plantation grounds combined with the fun and beautiful decor created a spectacular event.
Kate Cook of KB Cook Weddings did an outstanding job of planning the wedding and making sure it went off without a hitch!
Best wishes to the happy couple!
